Joely holds an important role as the administrative assistant of DESEA Peru, supporting all aspects of office management, payroll, and purchasing. She works directly with Program Manager, Judy Chávez, to ensure each project has the organization and materials needed to function effectively.
Joely is committed to learning as much she can from her colleagues in order to have the greatest impact on project communities. In addition to her everyday tasks, Joely contributes a spirit of creativity and positivity to DESEA and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
Having a young son, Joely strongly values the work being done by DESEA, particularly with regard to improving health in young children. Joely’s hope for DESEA is that of expanded community reach in order to help more children live a life without anemia.
Joely is from the village of Lamay, where DESEA is headquartered. She studied general management at the Instituto Superior KHIPU in Cusco, Peru.
